The EDGE was designed to seamlessly blend into your normal coaching process. No annoying peripherals, workshops, or confusing software. Just clean data and organization for your group so you can maximize the experience of coaching.

Set Up & Getting Started

prepare for setup

There are a few steps that you and your swimmers must take before we get you setup on the Phlex coaching platform.

  • Be sure your swimmers have properly followed and finished setting up their EDGE
  • Note the email that your swimmers have used to register their profile within the Phlex Swim App
  • Make sure you have a strong internet connection through a Wi-Fi network or cellular data service.

Visit the coaching platform

*The coaching platform can be visited from a desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone from the comfort of your web browser.*

Create A Profile

  • Click “Sign up now” at the bottom of the page.
  • Next, you will be prompted to create your account.
  • Enter your information and click “Sign up”.

Invite & Manage Your Team

  • After signing up, you will be taken to the dashboard
  • From here, click the gear icon in the top right corner of the page and select "Manage Team."
  • To connect a swimmer to your account, click on the light blue "Add Member" button. You will next be taken to the "Invite Member" screen.
  • To add a swimmer, enter the email address associated with their personal profile, along with their first and last name.
  • Your swimmer will be sent an email with a code. Swimmers must enter their code by going to "Settings," selecting "My Coaches," and then "Add Coach."
  • After your swimmer has added you as a coach, you simply need to navigate to "Manage Team" in the settings, select "Groups," then "Add Group." With this feature, you can create customized training groups to manage your team.

Create your groups

  • After your swimmer has added you as a coach, you simply need to navigate to "Manage Team" in the settings, select "Groups," then "Add Group." With this feature, you can create customized training groups to manage your team.
  • Once your groups have been created, navigate to a specific group and be sure to add your registered swimmers.
  • You can now return to your dashboard and access your swimmers entire workout history.
    *Workout access populates retroactively with workouts even prior to the creation of your coaching platform.

Invite other coaches and staff

  • From your dashboard, click on 'My Account.'
  • Just below your organizational and profile information, click the 'Invite Coach' button.
  • Enter the information of the coach who you would like to join the platform.

Get to know your dashboard

  • Your dashboard is the center of your teams workout data.
  • Make sure you are diligent about how you've set up groups in the dashboard so your team is organized.
  • When you click a swimmers name, the dashboard will default to showing you that swimmers most recent workout metrics.
  • To find a specific workout from a swimmer, click their name, then navigate in the calendar to a specific date. The dates that are colored blue in the dashboard are days that workouts were uploaded.
